A guide to making incredible pizza at home with simple ingredients and tools, by Mike Edmonds and Ronin Wood
Mike Edmonds is a photographer in Brooklyn who shoots food, fashion, and everything in between. He had the idea to make this book after eating one of Ronin’s cast iron pizzas. Eventually, he wants to open a breakfast sandwich food truck and move into a cabin upstate with his partner, Erin, and their long- haired dachshund, Olive.
Ronin Wood is a graphic designer and amateur pizza chef in Brooklyn. He first got serious about making pizza at home when trying to have a romantic pizza dinner with his wife, Jessica, who has a dairy allergy. After a lot of experimentation, failures, and fire alarms, he found a simple method that created consistently good pizza. One day, he hopes to have a backyard pizza oven and run an illegal pay-what-you- can pizza restaurant.
